TMJ Management (Temporomandibular Joint)
This involves evaluation and treatment of TMJ Disorders (Temporomandibular Disorders). Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) occur as a result of problems with the jaw, jaw joint (or TMJ), and surrounding facial muscles.
Common symptoms include:
- Pain or tenderness in and around your ear, in jaw joint area, or in the face
- Clicking/popping or grating sounds in the jaw
- Lock jaw
